Varnhem Drinking Bowl, Handmade
This Viking Age bowl is based on a find in VĂ€rnhem, Gotland in Sweden. It is decorated with a series of oblique marks, just as the original find. The bowl is wholly handmade without a potterâs wheel, just as the original was made over 1000 years ago. The shape makes it perfect for enjoying larger beverage servings.
In order to make it more durable and easier to clean, itâs made with a with a matte glazing inside. This allows it to be washed in a dish washer and it can also withstand a microwave oven.
